Office of Academic Planning & Accountability (OAPA)

The mission of the Office of Academic Planning & Accountability (OAPA) is to provide a means of understanding the context and climate of our campus, programs and students; to ensure continuous, systematic assessments and improvements occur within our academic and community activities; and to be accountable to the public, state and accrediting agencies. OAPA is comprised of three sub-offices.

Institutional Research, Analytic & Decision Support (IRADS)

As the repository for official university data, IRADS collects, maintains, analyzes, interprets and disseminates data about University of Louisville.

Institutional Effectiveness (IE)

Institutional Effectiveness is responsible for coordinating campus-wide and assisting unit-level assessment of academic programs and administrative processes to support the University’s quality improvement efforts.

Accreditation & Academic Programs (AAP)

Accreditation & Academic Programs coordinates institutional and discipline-specific accreditation and academic program approval and review processes.
